Forensic Accounting

At AKA, our Experts are fully conversant with the preparation of Expert Reports across a broad spectrum of legal proceedings and are alive to their professional and legal duties under Part 35 of the Civil Rules and Part 33 of the Criminal Procedure Rules.

We are specialists in all aspects of Forensic Accounting to include: Company valuation re: shares; Asset division upon marital divorce; Asset division upon dissolving a business including companies and partnerships; Loss of profits claims; Insurance claims/damages; Fraud and false accounting; Asset ‘hiding’; Personal Injury claims and Professional Negligence claims against Accountants, Architects, Financial Advisers, Insurance Brokers, Surveyors and Solicitors. We can advise on quantum and, in certain circumstances liability. We interview claimants or defendants, mediate between parties and negotiate early settlements.

We can investigate and report on occupational fraud, large corporate fraud and VAT carousel frauds. We also have vast experience in defending confiscation orders and reporting under POCA 2002.
